Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Organizer-Managed Cancellations

No refunds are applicable on purchased tickets, even in the case of event rescheduling. All ticket sales for Student Startup Pitching, AI Film Fest, AI Brand Ads Challenge, the 36-Hour Hackathon, and Delegate Pass registrations are treated as final at the time of purchase.

2. No Refund for Missed Events

Refunds will not be issued for missed events, late arrivals, or change of plans. We recommend double-checking event details - including date, time, and venue - before completing your booking.

3. Event Cancellations or Postponements

In the event of cancellation or rescheduling, users will be notified via WhatsApp, Email. Refunds or credits, if applicable, will be issued in accordance with the organizer's policy. Service charges are non-refundable under all circumstances.

4. Ticket Transfer Policy

Tickets and passes booked for Student Startup Pitching, AI Film Fest, AI Brand Ads Challenge, the 36-Hour Hackathon, or Delegate Pass are non-transferable between events or categories. Name changes within the same event category may be considered at the sole discretion of the organizing team, subject to a written request sent before the event start date.

5. Team & Group Registrations

For team-based categories such as the 36-Hour Hackathon and Student Startup Pitching, AI Film Fest, AI Brand Ads Challenge, the cancellation policy applies to the registration as a whole. Withdrawal of individual team members does not entitle the team to a partial or prorated refund.

6. Failed or Duplicate Transactions

If an amount is debited from your account but the registration is not confirmed due to a technical or payment gateway error, the amount will be automatically reversed by Razorpay as per standard banking timelines, or you may reach out to us for verification and resolution. This is not treated as a policy-based refund but a transaction correction.

7. Force Majeure

The organizers shall not be held liable for cancellations, postponements, or changes to the event caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, or venue unavailability. In such cases, the organizer's decision regarding refunds or credits shall be final.

8. Refund Processing Timeline

Where a refund is approved under the organizer's discretion (as outlined in Section 3), the amount will be credited to the original mode of payment within 7–14 business days, subject to your bank or payment provider's processing timelines.
